Fall-o-Ween Harvest
Falloween Fest at Prairie Gardens

Fall-o-Ween Fest at Prairie Gardens September 17 & 18th and September 24 & 25th.

Festival Activity Hours: 11 am - 5 pm Saturday and Sunday.  

Regular Farm Hours: 9am - 10 pm on Saturday for Flashlight Adventures; 9:00am - 6:00 pm Sunday.

Along with the changing of the leaves comes an Edmonton family tradition that spans back many years. That’s right, it’s fall festival time again! There’s no place quite like Prairie Gardens Adventure Farm Fall-o-Ween Fest to take in the tastes, sights and aromas of the fall season!

Full of rich autumn not-to be missed activities and decorative displays, interactive events for kids, panning for gems, musical entertainment, farmyard friends, Lost Lemon Mine,  Children’s Puppet Theatre, and the Ghost Town of Boo’n Accord!  It’s sure to be an experience the whole family will enjoy!

Fundraiser for the Edmonton Garrison Military Family Resource Centre

12:00pm - 5:00pm Saturday, September 17th Only - Weather Permitting.  Donations appreciated for a lift up, up and away over the maze!  $5-$10.

Real Local. Real Food.  The Sturgeon County Bounty Fall Taste Event on October 1st runs onsite from 11am-3pm.  Come meet our local farmers, chefs, cooks, caterers, and artists!

As Prairie Gardens celebrates its 16th anniversary of the Haunted Pumpkin Festival; the newest attraction from the Andersen family farm creates even more fun. The Great Prairie Corn Maze, 7 acres of towering corn, has 5 km of pathways carved into an a-maiZing Gold Rush Trail.

New Attractions: (Tokens required) Cost Range - $2 - $12 Tokens

         Lost Lemon Gem Sluice Mine ($ 4-Kids Buckets - $12-Family Pails of Gem Gravel)

         Prairie Gardens Express Rail-less Train ($2 or Ride all day $5)

         Old Thyme Photo Parlour (e-photos are free) Printed Photos 4x6 $4; 8x10 $10

         Grandmas Fudgery $4

         Trick or Treat Cabin $2 up up for Halloween novelties and treats.

           Great Prairie Corn Maze Gold Rush!  Call it agro-art, a living puzzle; it’s an a-maizing adventure for kids of all ages - Cornfusing, and fun!

           Haunted Farm House – The creaks and groans are real…

           Head out on an A-Maizing race adventure across the whole farm.  Find all eight clues and enter to win an Amaizing Fun weekend getaway.

           Make & Take a Real Scarecrow to create a great fall display on your porch to welcome the harvest season.

           Stroll through the Nature Trail Forest.

           Solve three 10 minute kid’s mazes. (Bale Maze, Kids Labyrinth, and Mini Gold Rush Trails)

           What the Hay? Hay Bale Giants-12 feet tall are a wonder to behold.  Don’t forget your cameras!

           The Old Fashioned Duck Races, and giant checkers games are fun for everyone.

           Cornstalk Puppet Theatre presents new for 2011! The Little Red Hen stars in our barnyard cast.

           Unlimited wagon rides around the farm

           Petting Farm – meet the farm sheep, goats and bunnies!

•           Pumpkin Painting – Choose a mini-pumpkin to paint and take home.

•           Fishin Ponds, Pirates Pull, and Dragons Treasure – Everyone takes home a surprise prize.

•           That’s Crafty!  Make and take a kid’s craft program.

•           Pumpkin Emporium – Find the perfect Halloween costume or fun fall décor, cornshocks, and pumpkins.

•           Land of Orange – Pick the perfect pumpkin – prices range from $1 - $20.

 Eats

•           Pumpkin Pie Café – Enjoy a hotdog, steaming bowl of chili, pumpkin pie and hot chocolate

•           BBQ Beef on a Bun Concession – Enjoy beef on a bun, ice cream, and pumpkin pie, hot and cold beverages

•           Snack Jacks – Popcorn, cupcakes, and peanut brittle, hot and cold beverages.

•           Popcorn Hut

•           Tea Hut – enjoy a cup of tea or hot chocolate in our heated Pavilion #3.

Campfire Sites & Heated Pavilions:

Reserve a private group–use Campfire Site for 3 to 7 hours. (Comes with firewood and roasting forks).  Times available: Book for All Day, Lunch 10 am - 1 pm or dinner 2 pm - 6 pm.

Pre-Order a Hot Dog Picnic Pack for $40.00 ($3.33 per person) to be delivered to your site. Picnic packs come complete with 1 dozen uncooked wieners, hot dog buns, drinks (juice boxes or pop) a bag of marshmallows, condiments, and potato chips.

Please note that campfires are dependant on wind conditions and Sturgeon County Fire Bans. If unavailable, we will BBQ your hotdogs for you. Custom catering includes Beef on the Bun, BBQ Steak Dinners, Corn Roasts, Pumpkin Pie, and other special menus. Please contact us for quotes.

  §         Campfire Site $50 (minimum) or Private Function Group Use Area Rate: $2 per person

§         Picnic Pavilion $225 (Seats 50)

§         Heated Greenhouse Pavilion Rental: $250 - $500 (30' x100') Comes with straw bale seats. (Seats 100) (min $250)
