The Canada Day Kids Fest at Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm is the perfect way to kick-start summer holidays on the Canada Day long weekend from June 30 July 1, & 2 from 10:00 am -6:00 pm each day. Recommended for children ages 2 through 12, this festival is dedicated to improving children’s physical, social and emotional well-being through outdoor play and exploration. The folksy Keith Remple band will play from 12-3 each day. Rupert Appleyard presents: Farmer Flash with whimsical Balloony creations!

This July 1, Bon Accord will celebrate it's first Summer Skies Festival event to launch the Summer Skies event schedule called "Summer Skies Celebrates Canada". The Canada Day event will introduce the town and the region to the importance of the sky above us. This one day event will showcase culture, the environment and be educational and fun for everyone.
To close off the summer, the next event in the Summer Skies is "Summer Skies Equinox". This event will promote the new LEC policy and highlight the town's direction in its new economic and community development initiative.
