Summer U-Pick Gardens - Strawberry Season
Summer brings U-Pick Strawberries from July 15 - August 1st!
Pick-your-own family fun, kids Garden Day Camps , and the Red Hat Strawberry Fare Luncheon. Celebrate the end of berry season with the Fairy Berry Festival over the long weekend in August. The Veggie gardens offer pick-your-own peas, baby potatoes, greens in July, August beans & zucchini, September sweet corn and a pumpkin patch in October.

Tour de l'Alberta comes to Prairie Gardens July 24, 2011
Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm is delighted to host over 600 bicyclists for the Tour de l’Alberta bicycle tour on Sunday, July 24th . The 100 km route offers a rest stop at Prairie Gardens, where riders will have a unique opportunity taste locally grown strawberries and shortcake from 10:30 to 1:00 pm while the berries last!
This year, the 17th annual Tour de l’Alberta bike riders will experience local agri-tourism farm hospitality as they celebrate the Tour de France and Alberta’s strong French heritage on the 100 km route. Travelling north from Morinville, around Legal, then south on Lily Lake Road, riders will pause at Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm, which is historically located along the Athabasca Landing Trail, a regional route that Francophone pioneers travelled in the late 1800’s. >More Info

Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm is holding its classic theme days again this year with the Fairy Berry Festival and Grand Opening of the Great Prairie Corn Maze on the August long weekend - July 30th , 31st , and August 1st . Bring out the fairies, knights and pirates in your house for a day filled with magic! Don't forget to dress up! At 2 pm each day, there will be a draw for those in costume. >More Info
Summer birthday parties at Prairie Gardens are all about good ole' fashioned fun! Petting farms, birthday games, and birthday cabin rentals make this a special (and easy) birthday for all! We offer fun themes and unique birthday party packages for children.
